Experience the calm beauty of the Monksville Reservoir on the vessel of your choice. Whether you prefer stand up paddle boarding or kayaking one of our single or tandem kayaks, Flatwater Paddle Co. has just the right equipment to help you have a fabulous day on the water. Paddle with the whole family for one hour or a whole day! Take in the beautiful scenery and keep an eye out for wildlife like swans and beavers.
New to stand up paddle boarding? Lessons are not included with hourly rentals, but we provide plenty of information, safety tips, and help launching and returning the equipment. If you feel like you need more guidance, book a lesson with us! We’ll have you out on the water in no time.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so using the link in your booking email up to 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or if you’d like to reschedule, please EMAIL us (reply to your booking email) as far in advance as possible.
Cancellations must be made more than three hours ahead of the start time on the reservation for a full refund. If a reservation is cancelled more than one hour but less than three hours before the start time on the reservation, the refund will be 75%. Cancellations made less than one hour before the start time of the reservation will be eligible for a 50% refund. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE START TIME OF THE RESERVATION. Reservations are held for 30 minutes past the reserved start time, after which the equipment may be released to other renters and no longer available to you. If you do not show up for your reservation, you will not be eligible for any refund or to reschedule.
If the weather is poor (misty, not warm, etc) but safe, we will stay open and the above policy will still apply. If the weather is poor and not safe (thunder/lightening, strong winds) we will close and offer each customer to either reschedule or receive a full refund. If you are out on the water when unsafe weather hits, you will need to come back to shore and your reservation will be adjusted so you pay for the time you have used (minimum one hour rental).
Please note: if you are late to your reservation, we CAN NOT guarantee that we will be able to change the start/end time of your booking to accommodate you. If we are unable to change your appointment, you will either be able to use the equipment for the remainder of your scheduled time, or cancel your booking based on the policy outlined above. If you launch late, you will still have to return on time and no refund or credits will be given. Please call or email us as early as possible if you think you will be arriving late so we can do our best to help.
