Shepherd Lake Boathouse

Shepherd Lake is a peaceful 74 acre spring fed lake. At this location, we rent kayaks, paddleboards, rowboats and pedal boats.

Shepherd Lake Recreation area is a great place to spend the day. This area of the park includes hiking and mountain biking trails, a sandy beach (unfortunately there is no swimming), picnicking and grilling, and a playground.

Nearby within the park (driving distance) are the Ringwood Botanical Gardens and Thunder Mountain, which offers skeet shooting.
